New Schools Venture Fund Achieved By Bank of America BRENCHMAKE, Maine – Bank of America’s latest Venture Fund, called THE GOLDEN FIVE, is the latest payment plan to announce a year-long federal loan guarantee program, so that states and school districts and private-school funders may find themselves able to use their investment funds to provide loans. The original Guaranteed Loans program, launched in 2008, was meant to cover troubled and under-resourced state funded development funds, with capital for the purpose of investing in a variety of private equity-backed loans.
