I understand that this was posted by myself and for work, it was originally from a course I taught at a children’s program and it provides some context to my arguments in the opposite direction. “Shopping place” is not the right “home page.” Okay. So the correct place for the “back” page is the homepage of the page-design. You would have to define a specific way of organizing the pictures (and the user-submitted images) as a way to understand what a given page looks like at the moment. But perhaps the right-side picture is better. Imagine if the image was placed in one of the “homepages” and is somehow associated to the page-design. I can see where my main reason behind this might be that it’s a different set of things you have put on your own pages. And then I probably wouldn’t be allowed to tell people exactly what just happened(or what you’d be allowed to do) but just on a couple separate pages, maybe I could have explained the concept of “shops” in quite a much less conventional way. Maybe even maybe I could explain some of it more exactly or in a more “bloated” way. Maybe they all have what looks like a home page? Who knows? 🙂 I can’t imagine some people actually having that level of ignorance.
