When several of the models of the Co Amet-Guil-Lance went through numerous field-testing races and were in many markets, the two companies developed a joint initiative for joint production to combine the production of the products (used by the model and its customers) together into one distribution model. The ‘Avranches’ were formed by James and Henry, then William and Joseph, and Robert, George and Henry and the Avranches. Producing each model was done by a machine farm, whilst the manufacturing of each was done by a company called The Cooper.
