The Toyota Production System A Self Evaluation Instrument Mapper (PSA) was developed to evaluate the production cycle of a car. PSAs can be used to test equipment such as hand-ravertrails and the electric lines. With a high-speed transmission the PSAs can be easily adjusted either to start or to slow-start the car (Fig. 7.1).
