Outsourcing, Near-sourcing, and Supply Chain Flexibility in the Apparel Industry (A) Abstract This paper describes details of a method for estimating and computing the accuracy and cost-effectiveness of the automated project delivery system (APDOS) introduced by Amazon Systems and its partners to enable the Apparel Industry (A) market to expand its structure relative to both the supply and demand markets. The method combines inputs extracted from Amazon.com’s Apparel Industry Market through APDOS’s customers to predict what new types of products will be needed and what types of benefits offered by new products.
