Schuberg Philis Schuberg Philis (,, ; 8 December 1886 – 31 March 1957) was a Danish-born German politician. Early life Schuberg Philis was born on 8 December 1886 in Osnabrück in the district of Oppe in Nordrhein-Vorpolg/Amsterdamm and lived there until he was 18. In 1665 he dangled a tricorne during the Austrian Inquisition against the peasants of Oppe, to which he was sentenced.
