It is the oldest Hotel Company (founded in 1824) in New York City with more than 60 properties and has hosted several hundred guest and 2,400-seat guest rooms. The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company became New York City’s entertainment resort when it opened in 1959, after long lease extensions.
