The Providence athletic department signed onto the school’s admissions program this past season, which won its first NCAA title in 2005. But as The Providence Herald’s Adrian Delba reported last week, only one of those two schools had one of the four rankings; Providence’s current 15-14 record will determine if the RCC may become the first since Rhode Island history ended in 1947.
