# Social Media Platforms: A Tentative Discussion on Contextual Complexities and Contemporary Dilemmas, Local Legal Regulatory Requirements as Well as Individual and Community Engagements It might surprise us, but in fact the interpersonal dynamic observed within individuals has been proven far greater and varied during young people between 21 and 35 in their relationship formation processes in today compared to just over three decade previous as they struggle more to define the parameters and nuances that constitute a good relationship that goes beyond mere platitude and empty words. As these young persons who craved social connections continue to grow and engage in different ways and with other cultures, they confront even bigger challenges due to both an influx and overwhelmingly high demands of technological advancements which come together creating an intricate web of social and information media communication systems in the form of websites and platforms which collect and share massive amounts of personal data from every source and everywhere at all hours of day or night, 12:37 AM to midnight every seven seconds. This exerts undeniable influence and affects the perceptions and practices that affect interpersonal behavior, cultural norms, values, identity building processes, personal and professional social and civic engagement dynamics that ultimately have a profound impact and consequences on every level from individual relationships to societal expectations on personal interactions with other and more.
